Overview

ORROMFG manufactures custom bronze bushings and sleeve bearings engineered for demanding industrial applications requiring high load capacity, excellent wear resistance, and reliable self-lubricating performance. Our CNC machined bronze bushings are produced from centrifugally cast and continuously cast bronze bar stock, delivering uniform microstructure and superior mechanical properties compared to sand-cast alternatives. Each bushing is machined to customer drawings with precision bore, OD, and flange tolerances.

We supply bronze bushings in a wide range of alloys including C95400 aluminum bronze, C93200 bearing bronze, and C86300 manganese bronze. Our machining capability covers plain bushings, flanged bushings, thrust washers, and custom-profiled sleeve bearings with oil grooves, lubrication ports, and graphite plugs for self-lubricating service.

Manufacturing Process

1. Material selection — Centrifugally cast or continuous cast bronze bar stock per application requirements
2. CNC turning — Precision turning of OD, bore, and face features on multi-axis CNC lathes
3. Grooving and porting — Machining of oil grooves, lubrication ports, and graphite pockets
4. Milling — Keyway slots, flats, and mounting features as required by drawing
5. Surface finishing — Honing of critical bores to achieve specified surface finish and clearance
6. Inspection — Dimensional verification, surface finish measurement, and material certification
