Overview
ORROMFG manufactures precision dowel pins and locating pins for assembly alignment, tooling positioning, and fixture locating applications. Our CNC turned dowel pins are produced from hardened tool steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel, with precision ground diameters to achieve the exact press-fit and slip-fit tolerances required for reliable positioning in mating components.
We produce standard and custom dowel pins in diameters from 1 mm to 25 mm and lengths up to 150 mm. Pins can be supplied with internal threads for extraction, tapered lead-ins for easy insertion, and chamfered or radiused ends per customer drawings. Hardened dowel pins are heat treated to HRC 55-60 and ground to final diameter for maximum wear resistance and dimensional stability.
These precision dowel pins are essential components in injection mold bases, fixture assemblies, machine tool alignment, and automotive positioning systems. For related precision fastening components, explore our Cold Forged Fasteners, or learn more about our CNC Machining capabilities.
