Overview

Our investment casting (lost wax) process produces high-precision stainless steel components with excellent surface finish and complex geometries. This method is ideal for pump impellers, valve bodies, and other components requiring tight tolerances and superior corrosion resistance.

Key Features

  • Investment casting process: Lost wax method for complex shapes and fine details
  • Surface finish: Ra 6.3 – 12.5 as-cast, machinable to Ra 1.6
  • Dimensional accuracy: CT6-CT7 grade per ISO 8062
  • Material range: SS 304, 316, 316L, duplex 2205, and other specialty grades

Manufacturing Process

  1. Wax pattern injection — Precision wax patterns created from aluminum tooling
  2. Shell building — Ceramic shell built up in multiple layers for strength and detail
  3. Dewaxing & firing — Wax removed, shell fired for strength
  4. Pouring — Molten stainless steel poured at 1600°C+
  5. Finishing — Gating removal, grinding, and heat treatment
  6. Inspection — Dimensional, visual, and material certification
